I crocheted something for Alfie and I don't think he likes it. When I saw the project, I knew I wanted to make it. (Of course, I had five other projects going on when I initially saw it two weeks ago.) I've seen this called a "Cat Cave" and a "Cat Cozy." (I like "Cat Cave.")
The "Cat Cave" is a Lion Brand pattern and free. (I like free.) It's made out of a t-shirt yarn they make called "Fettuccini." (I looked up a tutorial on how to make t-shirt yarn and made my own.) It took 18 shirts to make. (My husband had old shirts and we had a lot that we used for rags.)
I don't know if he'll ever go in it. His cat cousin down the road might get it. We'll give it some time.
