I finally finished the Mystery Afghan! When all is said and done, I'm not a huge fan of my color combination. It is growing on me the more I look at it. I didn't have enough of my Color B (green) to do the entire round that featured 5 double crochet clusters in every stitch- that takes up A LOT of yarn! So I did green on the short ends and my Color A (white) on the long ends. This is not a pattern I would've picked out myself, but I have learned a few new techniques the past two months. The idea of the mystery project is so fun because I never would've guessed that the afghan would've turn out this way. I've enjoyed seeing other works in progress (WIPs) on The Crochet Crowd's facebook page, too.
I'm not entirely done yet... there are many ends to weave in. I was really good about weaving in ends as I finished the clue each week, but then I got behind and left the stragglers. I have a couple other projects I need to do that have a deadline, so these ends will be saved for a rainy day.
Thanks for following me along this magical, mystery tour. <3
