we give what we can

The youth group at our church is preparing to go to the Mennonite Youth Convention this July. They have been fundraising with dinners at church, but tomorrow is the youth auction. People have been donating items to be auctioned off: furniture, kitchen appliances, toys, blankets. Many people are eyeing what they want to bid on as the items come in. (I hope there won't be any fights or hard feelings!)
We may not have much to donate, but there is something that I love to share- my baked goods! I have baked five loaves of cinnamon swirl bread for the sale. I know it isn't much and probably won't make as much money as the child's size John Deere tractor, but we give what we can.
I hope the youth group is blessed by their trip this Summer.
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Psalms 22: 6 <3
