transplanting!

This week we finally got our garden started! We're not done transplanting and seeding- we still have a bit to go. We transplanted our tomatoes and planted our potatoes earlier this week and yesterday we did all of our brassicas (cabbages, broccolis, cauliflower, kohlrabi, kales) and some lettuces, rainbow swiss chard and our peppers (jalapeno, hot banana and sweet bell).

Of course because we get busy, I don't have any of us actually transplanting, so here are some of our plants and a picture of my husband checking our garden rotation for this year.

We are growing celery this year; we'll see how it does.

Here are some of our lettuces that we transplanted.

(Snapdragons on the left, Brussels and broccoli in the back and rainbow swiss chard with Red Russian and Green Curly kale on the right.)

Chard, kales and cabbages waiting to be transplanted.

My husband :) and our chicken coop in the background.

We have tomato plants (left over that we didn't need) for sale. They are from organic seed, grown in organic soil mix we bought from Johnny's. Let me know if you're interested.

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful time of year. <3
